Karine Nissim is a serial entrepreneur and an award-winning writer, speaker, and podcaster committed to championing growth and healing after trauma. After the unexpected loss of her late husband, Karine launched DayNew, a trauma support platform and social network. She is a tech founder of several disruptive startups including the pet sitting platform, DogVacay, which merged with Rover and went public in 2021 and Shmask, the viral fashion hit featured on the Today Show in 2020. 

Karine and her work have been featured on countless media outlets including Forbes, TechCrunch, CNN, BBC and Oprah.  She is a graduate of the George Washington University and the American Film Institute and resides in Miami Beach with her three children.
